A frugal minimalist at heart, Ash chooses to keep life simple when he's home, living in a small cottage on a little piece of land. But every now and then, the urge to wander takes over.

He doesn't travel simply to collect destinations or tick places off a list. For him, it's more about experiencing a place — taking an unexpected road, having a small conversation with a stranger, finding a quiet corner, or simply taking the time to watch the world around him.

There's a little bit of dolce far niente in the way Ash travels — the sweetness of doing nothing and letting a moment unfold without rushing to the next one.
